My name is Chikira Williams maiden name Hale. I graduate from Hyde Park Academy class of 2000. During my studies in high-school
I participated in Gallery 37 Photography program and was part of the student counsel.
I became part of the Hyde Park Alumni Reunion Committee 5 years ago to assist and give back to the students of Hyde Park Academy.
I have been in the healthcare field for almost 20 years. I attended Chicago State University where I received my BSN degree (bachelor
of science in nursing). I then attended Lewis University where I received my MSN/Ed. degree (master of science in nursing
education). Next, I attended Olivet Nazarene University where I received my FNP degree (family nurse practitioner). Finally, I am
currently pursing my DNP degree (doctorate of nursing practice). I have held various roles throughout my career from bedside nursing
to leadership positions. I have a passion for education and lifelong learning. I also hold various certifications and continue to work to
expand my knowledge.
Currently, I am a full-time practicing Nurse Practitioner. I also work as an adjunct faculty member for one of the Universities within the
nursing department. In addition, I am the owner and instructor for Professional Circle LLC a CPR training company.
I look forward to working with the students and my fellow alumni and sharing my experience in hopes of helping someone on their
career path.
