Marjorie attended Hyde Park High School from September 1953 to graduation June 1957. Along with her involvement in school activities was Future Teachers of America and upon receiving her B. S. In Education from Chicago State University, became a teacher at Bryn Mawr Elementary School. Her employment career lead to 39 years in social services within various departments of the City of Chicago. Marriage and motherhood resulted in 2 children, 13 grandchildren, and 7 great grands. Currently a member of the Hyde Park High School Alumni Association, Inc. serving as assistant treasurer and previously served as president.
